Formation history

    Hai Ha Confectionery joint stock Company is one of the largest confectionery manufacturers in Viet Nam.

    The company which was founded in 1960 and spent more than 50 years striving and developing has grown ceaselessly and accumulated much experience in business production. With experienced leaders, good business strategies, high-skilled labors, the company has been advancing steadily and release continuous development to keep reputable and worthy for the sake of deserving the trust of customers.

    The company is a small factory with a capacity of 2000 tons/year for many years ago while today, it has developed into HAIHA Confectionery Joint stock Company with higher scale of up to 20,000 tons/year in production.

    HAIHA Confectionery JSC is the first enterprise in the field of confectionery production certified: "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points" (HACCP) in Vietnam. This shows the commitment of the leaders to ensure food safety for consumers’ health.

    In 2003, the company decided to transform into Joint stock Company according to the Resolution No 191/2003/QĐ-BCN of Ministry of Industry dated 14November 2003.

    The company which has been operating in the form of joint stock Company on

20 January 2014 according to the certificate of business registration (number 0103003614) issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi and changed the fourth on 7 May 2012. The business activities include:

-        Manufacture and trade of confectionery  and food processing

-        Export and import of raw materials, machinery and equipment, consumer goods, other commodities.

-        Other business sectors not prohibited by the provisions of law.

Achievements: The achievements of the company are recognized:

+        4 Third Labor Medals (1960 - 1970)

+        1 Second Labor Medal (1985)

+        1 First Labor Medal (1990)

+        1 Third Independence Medal (1997)

+        Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2010.

    Products of HAIHA Confectionery JSC were awarded gold, silver medals in the international exhibition about Vietnam’s industrial goods, national economics exhibition and engineering economics one in Vietnam.

    Products of HAI HA Confectionery JSC have been admired by consumers and have been voted as "high quality Vietnamese Goods" within 17 years from 1997 to 2013.
